Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, known as Bad Bunny, was born on March 10, 1994, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, and raised in Vega Baja. He is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer, record producer, and occasional professional wrestler. Dubbed the "King of Latin Trap," he helped Spanish-language rap music become popular worldwide and is considered one of the best Latin rappers of all time.

He rose to fame in 2016 with his song Diles, which led to a recording contract with Hear This Music. He gained global recognition with hits like Cardi B’s I Like It and Mía featuring Drake. His albums include X 100pre (2018), Oasis with J Balvin (2019), YHLQMDLG (2020), Las que no iban a salir (2020), El Último Tour Del Mundo (2020), Un Verano Sin Ti (2022), Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana (2023), and Debí Tirar Más Fotos (2025). Debí Tirar Más Fotos became the first Spanish-language album to win the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. He also headlined the Super Bowl LX halftime show in 2026.

Bad Bunny has won six Grammy Awards, seventeen Latin Grammy Awards, eight Billboard Music Awards, and thirteen Lo Nuestro Awards. He was Billboard’s Artist of the Year in 2022 and 2025 and has been one of the most-streamed artists on Spotify.

Outside music, he performs in WWE, debuting in 2021 and winning the WWE 24/7 Championship. He has appeared in movies such as Bullet Train (2022), Cassandro (2023), Caught Stealing (2025), and Happy Gilmore 2 (2025).
