Emmanuel Kwamina Amonoo, professionally known as Quamina MP, is a Ghanaian musician and record producer born on September 11, 1993, in Takoradi, Ghana. He grew up in Mankessim, where he completed his basic education, and later attended St. Mary’s Senior High School for his secondary education. Quamina MP proceeded to Ghana Communication Technology University for tertiary studies but had to drop out due to financial constraints. Determined to pursue music full-time, he learned beat-making in 2014, laying the foundation for his career as both an artist and producer.

Quamina MP’s breakthrough came in 2017 when he joined Ground Up Chale, a talent management and music platform, which gave him exposure with his hit song Wiase Y3d3. He has since released several successful tracks, including Amanfour Girls, which won Hiplife Song of the Year at the 3Music Awards and earned multiple nominations at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. Quamina MP is also known for notable collaborations, such as the remix of Wiase Y3d3 featuring Kwesi Arthur and Yung C, as well as Amanfour Girls Remix featuring Medikal, which have further cemented his place in Ghana’s music industry.

Throughout his career, Quamina MP has performed at major events like Rapperholic Concert, Afrochella, Detty Rave, Bhim Concert, Tidal Rave, Ghana Rocks, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, and international shows in London and Manchester. Despite personal challenges, including the loss of his father in a road accident in November 2020, he has continued to thrive in music. Over the years, he has become one of Ghana’s prominent hiplife and hip hop artists, recognized for his versatility, soulful vocals, and dedication to his craft.
